- WHY DO WE NEED YOUR EXPLICIT CONSENT TO USE THEM?

The Grand Chamber ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union, dated October 1, 2019, should be interpreted to mean that consent is not valid when the storage of information, or access to information already stored on the user’s device from a website via cookies, is authorized through a checkbox that is pre-checked by default, which the user must uncheck if they wish to refuse its use.
